become a sponsor

KiwiHarvest provides all services (both food rescue and food support) completely free of charge.

That means we’re reliant on the generosity of individual and corporate sponsors, donors and grant programmes to be able to do the work we do.

If you’re interested in becoming a financial supporter, there are many ways you can do so – feel free to get in touch via email at anne-marie.friis@kiwiharvest.org.nz if you’d like to find out more or give us a call on 0800 601 609.

Sponsor a capability

Larger donors may choose to contribute money to support a geographic region or a specific capability – such as a delivery truck, an education programme, or to reach a particular community.

Grants

KiwiHarvest is always looking out for grant opportunities to apply for, including across the government and philanthropic arenas. If your organisation runs a grant programme that you think may be suitable, please get in touch.

These vehicles help our Account Managers, Jennifer and Sam, to visit our Food Donors and Recipients on a daily basis, ensuring that we can continue to help as many people as possible. BIDFOOD Queenstown

Bidfood have been an invaluable in-kind sponsor to KiwiHarvest Queenstown since lockdown. Not only did they come on board as a donor, providing us with excellent produce, but they also gifted us storage space (for our frozen meat and Weet-Bix) so we could feed the growing number of people in Queenstown who had become food insecure as an impact of COVID-19.

We want to make a special shout out to Jeremy Sinclair and his team, for being so blissfully easy to communicate with and always making us feel like nothing was too much to ask. Thank you Bidfood Queenstown!
