Why KiwiHarvest north shore Matters

  • Large-scale food rescue across the Auckland Harbour Bridge all the way north to Wellsford

  • Supporting both urban and rural communities where access to food support can often be limited

  • Partnering with a diverse network of local organisations

While the branch is based in Rosedale, its reach extends far beyond Auckland’s North Shore suburbs. By servicing communities as far north as Wellsford, KiwiHarvest North Shore supports both densely populated urban areas and smaller rural communities where food support services may be harder to access. This broad regional reach ensures rescued food gets to families who need it most.

Partnerships & Community Initiatives

KiwiHarvest North Shore works closely with food businesses, charities, marae, schools, and grassroots community organisations to help strengthen food support networks across the region. Through these partnerships, quality surplus food is redirected to local whānau experiencing food insecurity, while also reducing unnecessary waste. From supporting women’s refuges and youth services to reaching rural communities as far north as Wellsford, the branch plays an important role in creating a more connected, resilient, and sustainable community north of the Harbor Bridge.
