For $100 a month, your business will help redistribute perfectly good surplus food to more Kiwis who need it most. Working together with KiwiHarvest, you can help make a BIG impact in communities across Aotearoa.
KiwiHarvest rescues perfectly good surplus food and redistributes it to more than 235 charities supporting Kiwis in need across the country. Each month, the organisation rescues and redistributes around 300,000 kilograms of food that would otherwise go to waste.
Despite this, the scale of the issue remains significant. New Zealand wastes approximately 240,000 tonnes of good food every year, while 1 in 5 households are struggling with food insecurity, a number that is growing in the current economic environment. KiwiHarvest is well positioned to help close this gap, but future growth depends on securing consistent, scalable funding.
Impact - every $100 will feed 23 families for a day each month. Annually this will enable the rescue and distribution of food with a retail value of over $10,000 into the families in need.
